The second one honestly I could've skipped all together if not for a couple of scenes (the fountain, the house). Nice mystery, nice smut scenes, funny comebacks, great action scenes, great twists and some sad or interesting inner monologues.

First book was very well written, intriguing, and I liked getting to know how two main characters. The first one was by far the best of the series, followed by the third one and the second one. Even though I didn't particularly enjoy the narrators voices I would not let this stop me from listening to the book. Alex Kydd's voice was horribly cast for this character and although after a few painful hours I kinda got used to it, it still irked me until the end especially after every time I heard him say "but". Let's start with the narration: I'm sorry to say that Madeline's performance was nothing special in these books, she was alright to listen to. Perhaps, together, they can learn how to live.
